Frequently Asked
A few of the questions that come up most often — and a little reassurance before your first visit.
do the needles hurt?
Acupuncture uses very fine needles, and most people find the experience surprisingly gentle. Sensations vary, but are often described as warmth, heaviness, or a dull ache rather than pain.
Many people also experience a deep sense of relaxation during treatment as the body begins to slow down and settle.
what if i don't like needles?
Not all treatments rely on needles. Other therapies and treatment approaches can be incorporated depending on your needs and comfort level.
how many treatments will i need?
This varies from person to person. Some people notice changes quickly, while others benefit from treatment over a longer period. Recommendations will be discussed based on your individual situation.
is the clinic accessible?
The clinic is located within a bushland setting and accessed via stairs, which may not be suitable for everyone. If you're unsure whether the space will meet your needs, please get in touch and we'll do our best to assist.
As Wild Meridian grows, improving accessibility remains an important consideration in the long-term vision for the clinic.
do you offer private health rebates?
Many private health funds provide rebates for acupuncture under eligible extras cover. A receipt can be provided for you to submit to your health fund.
